Hey everyone (assuming anyone is reading),<br /> I gotta new job, I gotta new job, I got... well, you get the point. I now work for a company called Cryolife as a BioGlue Lab Technician Trainee...It seems cool, pays good, and is only about an hour and a half drive in the morning. Though I have been warned by several people that work in the lab that I really want to be anywhere but there...hmmm. Oh well, I see what I think of it when I've been here a while, right now just paper work, YAY! (Yes, that is a sarcastic "yay"). So if anyone wants to see where I work: www.cryolife.com Also, I've found that Wednesdays are going to be difficult due to the fact that Tuesday night (till the wee hours of Wed. morning) is D&D night...you can imagine the problem, I have to be up at 6am. <br /> In an off note, I gained 2 levels last night, Yay Me!

    <lj:music>Chronicles of Narnia Score</lj:music>

I Got Killed Twice in One night and still Survived…and I’m not even a lich. <br />First of all I play D&D with a group of friends (Pip the rogue, Castillion the elf ranger, Listner the Monk, and a kick ass DM…sometimes more people join, but that’s the core group), and I’m Jarvice the Mage. I’m 10th level (9th at the time of the incident) and I am still learning how to play a mage, it’s my first time…not easy. So anyway, on the death thing...Long story short: In my sleep the Yanti cursed me to become a yanti after they had killed all the high priests in the church of St. Cuthburg where I was resting (oh, I missed my listen roll and heard nothing, got the nickname "Magus Oblivious III). So, I ask the new priest (a evil undead fake) to heal me, instead he puts a crystal of take out everything in 20 ft area fail safe on my neck. Anyway, the only way to remove it was to kill me...so the group tricked me into teleporting to the Island of St. Cuthburg in order to "remove the yanti curse" so the told me... in reality they planned it where they yelled "duck" and only I ducked...then they stabbed and shot me to death (so they could remove the crystal...the only way to remove it safely was for the wearer to be dead)...then they threw me in a fountain of holy water, prayed over me, and I was back to full HP and PP. Then later in the evening I got struck by lightning, followed by an explosion (the girl got killed by the puppet master, her arm detonated taking out a 100ft area, that I was in. Then Castillion shot me with a heal arrow and restored all but 1 HP. <br />Well, at least something good came of it…this being the first time this group has had a party member die twice in the same evening, once by the group itself. So, Pip took pity on me and gave me his vote for XP points…and I ended up being able to level up, YAY! (more to come later)

    <lj:music>Lithium - Evanescence</lj:music>

Okay, has anyone seen the 1968 erotic scifi film, Barbarella: Queen of the Galaxy? I had seen it a long time ago as a child, and saw it in the Halloween Movie bin at WalMart for only $4.88. Not bad, so I bought it... I never really noticed before but it is quite..well...erotic, but you know, It is only rated PG. Yes, that's right, PG. It shares the ranks of many Disney movies in rating. For crying out loud, the opening sequence features Barbarella (a very foxy Jane Fonda) in a zero gravity space suite striptease...and yes, although the credits are playing you can see everything (yes, everything) PG! But that isn't it, through out the whole movie you see Barbarella either toppless or in various states of undress (a few full nude scenes), and the pinnacle of the movie is the Erotic Torture Machine... a 5 minute scene where a machine strips Barbarella and induces multiple sweaty orgasms! Only PG! <br /> Now, some of you out there probably think I'm saying that it shouldn't have a PG rating...well, maybe it shouldn't, maybe it should. I personally don't think that there is anything wrong with it per say, I just want to know what the hell has happened to the rating system today when one quick flash of nudity can get a movie a R rating....oh, and I'm pretty sure if we took say, Nicole Kidman and had a machine strip her and bring her to multiple orgasms that it would receive an R or NC-17 rating. <br /> If anyone reading this happens to be a movie Critic or Censorship sponsor then, please DO Be Offended. ^_^

Okay, I haven't kept up with this thing like I've been meaning to. (No wonder I only have one friend- I love you Rei) So, I was thinking today, Does anyone else totally waste money like I do? I sat down and thought about it, I spent $33 on comic books and Magic the Gathering cards today...I am not even currently playing Magic, and two of the comic books I only bought for the art. Then, I bought a bird (no, not a real one), just a decorative christmas ornament bird in a cage...pretty, but it cost $7 and I also bought cute halloween candy box from Micheal's (however you spell it) that cost me $5. Then I had to buy Pokey (you know the Japenese snack sensation that is sweeping anime lovers all over america) to put in the candy box. Then I tried to spend more money...I was going to get this great book set for Rei, but she would rather wait for B&N back order...of course they were a steal for just under $10 after s&h and delivery in under a week...but that is just it...I can't pass up a good deal. I thought about it, and everything I bought today was on "Sell" or in the "Bargin bin"...as a matter of fact the thing I've bought recently that I like the most is actully the only thing I paid full price for, the new Evanescence CD (yes, I know I probably spelled it wrong). What really gets me is, I'm actully saving money...yes, I am accruing a Positive bank account that actually grows from pay check to pay check. So, I'm saying, Let the shopping begin! So, first Halloween, then birthdays, and then Christmas...It is going to be so much fun!
